Join the CJS Marine crew for a fun, relaxed weekend of kayaking on beautiful Moreton Bay! Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned paddler, this is a great chance to get out on the water, meet other boating and fishing enthusiasts, and explore the stunning coastline around Wellington Point and King Island.
What\u2019s On
- 8:00am \u2013 Meet at Wellington Point Recreation Reserve (look for the CJS Marine flags)
- 8:30am \u2013 Safety briefing and paddling basics for beginners
- 9:00am \u2013 Guided group paddle to King Island (tide permitting)
- 11:30am \u2013 Free BBQ and refreshments back at the reserve
- 12:30pm \u2013 Wrap up
What to Bring
- Your own kayak if you have one \u2013 a limited number of loan kayaks are available (first in, best dressed!)
- Life jacket (PFD) \u2013 required for all paddlers, loaners available
- Sun protection, water, towel and a change of clothes
The event is free, family friendly, and numbers are limited \u2013 please register below so we can cater the BBQ and arrange enough loan kayaks.
